A documented, investigative report on Workers Compensation in Ohio will be released in a series of state-wide news conferences, March 18, including a finale inside the rotunda of the Capitol building at 3 p.m.
The days events are sponsored by the United Auto Workers (UAW), whose state-wide leaders will accompany the report's author, Phillip Mattera of New York, throughout his tour of Ohio. Mattera is a nationally known author and former reporter for Fortune magazine.
Mattera will begin his tour of Ohio, March 18, in Toledo at an 8:30 a.m. news conference with UAW Region 2-B Director Jack Sizemore. At 11:15 a.m., Mattera will arrive in Cleveland where he will join Davis for a news conference. Davis will travel with Mattera to Columbus and, together with Charles Bowling, director of UAW Region 2-A, will meet with the state press corps at 3 p.m.
