INVESTIGATE: BAN'S ON DATA CON.

GOOD news for firms who are worried they have to pay pounds 600 to be in a pointless business directory.

For years Austria-based Construct Data has been fleecing UK firms with its Fair Guide but now watchdogs have banned its devious mailshots.

Swansea music shop owner Jules Woodell, who has campaigned against the scam, warned: "This is good news but they are still free to mail the forms from outside Austria."
