INTERVOICE RECEIVES LARGE ORDER FROM INTECOM FOR PUBLIC UTILITY

 DALLAS, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- InterVoice (NASDAQ-NMS: INTV) has received an order in excess of $500,000 from Intecom, a business partner, for InterVoice's RobotOperator System to be installed at a large public utility company. The entire call center order, including the Intecom communications platform, amounted to $2 million.
 The 144-line RobotOperator System will be used to enhance customer service by providing answers around the clock to routine questions about billing and rates.
 "We have experienced a lot of synergy between our companies since Intecom became an InterVoice business partner almost a year ago," said Mike Barker, InterVoice senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Our relationship continues to be beneficial for the customer and both companies as demonstrated by this most recent order."
 Intecom develops multimedia networks that provide integrated solutions for voice, data, text, graphics and video. It is a subsidiary of Paris, France-based Matra S.A., an $11 billion diversified high technology publishing and distribution company organized around three main groups: telecommunications and information, defense and aerospace, and automobile and transit systems.
