INTERVISUAL BOOKS POPS-UP ON THE AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE
    NEW YORK, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today announced that Intervisual Books, Inc. of Santa Monica, Calif., began trading it's common stock.  Trading under ticker symbol "IBI", the company's stock opened at 4 on 500 shares.
    "Our company has had a strong growth pattern in recent years and we feel that our listing on the American Stock Exchange will increase our visibility in the investment community and provide better access to capital markets," said Charles E. Gates, president, chief executive officer and director of Intervisual Books, Inc.  The company has selected G.H.M., Inc. as its Specialist unit.
    Intervisual Books creates and packages a diversified line of children's pop-up and dimensional novelty books for domestic and international distribution to publishers.  As a packager, the company develops concepts that are presented to publishers worldwide. Intervisual Books combines children's contemporary book illustrations with high quality color printing and dramatic paper-folding effects.
    The American Stock Exchange is the second largest securities exchange in the United States and the largest American exchange with significant markets in both equities and derivative products.
