 Alliance Partner Program, Implementation Services Group and CompuServe Support Ease Migration to Client/Server Architecture
 SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, INTERSOLV (NASDAQ-NMS: ISLI), announced it has developed a new alliance program, established a consulting service group and initiated CompuServe support to better meet the needs of customers working in client/server environments.

 New Client/Server Service and Support Programs

Through this program, INTERSOLV partners are provided with access to early technology, discounts on INTERSOLV products and services and early introductions to business opportunities. INTERSOLV's tight integration with third-party partners, products and services ensures INTERSOLV customers benefit from an open application development environment.
 -- INTERSOLV's Implementation Services Group provides on-site support to ease customer migration to client/server architectures through installation support, skills transfer, just-in-time training, implementation planning and consulting. The group's support encompasses software configuration management, new development and maintenance/extensions to existing systems.
 -- INTERSOLV's CompuServe Support Forum provides electronic support for every INTERSOLV desktop development product. The INTERSOLV Forum is staffed by experienced product representatives who provide customers with: information on INTERSOLV tools; up-to-date training course descriptions; schedules and registration materials; INTERSOLV User Group information; sample code, examples and product demos; white papers on INTERSOLV products and industry issues; and message areas for product support and discussions with other users. Additional CompuServe support will be available for INTERSOLV Support Plus customers.

Customers who are already members of CompuServe can log onto their service as usual and enter GO INTERSOLV. INTERSOLV customers not currently on CompuServe can join free of charge by calling the INTERSOLV Answerline. New INTERSOLV CompuServe users will also receive a $15 credit to explore the INTERSOLV Forum and other CompuServe services.
