INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S FORUM STEPS INSIDE THE FUTURE
 AT ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The International Women's Forum (IWF), together with its Leadership Foundation, will meet to discuss major trends in the fields of technology, health, work, family and careers at its annual conference this weekend. IWF members and representatives of The World Future Society will explore how forecasts for the 21st century will impact women at work, at home and abroad.
Hearst Magazines Corporate Research Director Ellen Sills-Levy kicks off the 1992 programs Saturday, May 16, with the overview presentation on "Demographics and the 21st Century," followed by panels on "Work and Careers: Downsizing of the Workforce and the Impact on Lifestyles and The Family"; "Health and the 21st Century", "Technologies of the Future", "Automation and Computers" and "Technological Impacts on Education."
Featured speakers include world futurist Heather Paul Kurent, vice president for the National Health Council, Washington, D.C.; IWF members Anne P. Hyde, president of the Hyde Group, Cos Cob, Conn.; Ingrid Flory, president of Regemus Inc., Stockholm, Sweden; and Caroline Nahas, managing vice president/partner at Korn/Ferry International, Los Angeles.
Founded in 1982, the International Women's Forum fosters global communication and association between women leaders around the world. Through its broad programs, the IWF provides members with a forum to share their interests, ideas and professional objectives. The IWF Leadership Foundation was established in 1990 as a training and personal development organization to help encourage and promote women's contributions in all fields and disciplines, from business to academia, from science to world affairs.
