INTERNATIONAL TOTALIZATOR SYSTEMS TO NEGOTIATE CONTRACT FOR
CONNECTICUT OFF-TRACK WAGERING
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- International Totalizator Systems Inc.(R) (NASDAQ: ITSI) has been selected by the State of Connecticut's Division of Special Revenue, which oversees the state's off-track wagering, to enter negotiations for a five-year contract, commencing Nov. 1, 1992, to provide totalizator support, associated equipment and services for a state-of-the-art off-track wagering system in Connecticut.
In a press release issued by the executive director of the Division of Special Revenue, Department of Revenue Services for the State of Connecticut, it was announced that ITS submitted a service package which would enhance the operation of Connecticut's off-track wagering system.
The terms of the contract will be negotiated between the Division of Special Revenue and ITS and is subject to review and approval by the Division's Gaming Policy Board. The negotiations are expected to conclude by the end of July.
International Totalizator Systems Inc. trades on the NASDAQ National Market System as ITSI. The company provides customized ticketing, transaction processing and data management solutions for computerized pari-mutuel wagering, on-line lotteries and automated travel ticket printing.
