INTERNATIONAL TOTALIZATOR SYSTEMS SELLS LOTTERY TERMINALS FOR CHINESE LOTTERY FOR U.S. $4.9 MILLION

 CARLSBAD, Calif., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- International Totalizator Systems Inc.(R) (NASDAQ: ITSI) signed an agreement with Talam Leasing Sdn Bhd of Malaysia to sell DATAMARK(R) 20 wagering terminals valued at U.S. $4.9 million. Talam Leasing is a principal in Golden Glory, a Hong Kong company which has a management agreement to install and operate the first automated lottery game in the Jilin province of the People's Republic of China.
 The company's DATAMARK terminals will be installed initially in a few hundred outlets beginning in the summer of 1993 throughout the Jilin province which has a population of 30 million people. According to the customer, the system will expand to cover a few thousand outlets, mainly in the cities of Changchun with a population of 6 million people, Jilin with 4 million people, Siping with 2 million people and the cities of Liaoyuan and Yanji, each with 1.5 million people.
 ITS will begin production of the terminals in June 1993 and deliveries are scheduled through September 1993.
 International Totalizator Systems Inc. designs, manufactures, sells, supports and services computerized ticket issuing systems and terminals for the global pari-mutuel wagering, on-line lottery and automated travel printing industries.
