INTERFIRST DECLARES CASH DIVIDEND

 ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- InterFirst Bankcorp Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: INFB), holding company for InterFirst Federal Savings Bank, announced today that the corporation's board of directors has declared a regular cash dividend of $0.07 per share. The dividend will be paid on Nov. 22 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 10.
 Stanley H. Rhodes, chairman and chief executive officer, stated that on Oct. 25, 1993, the board of directors authorized payment of this dividend following the corporation's positive operating results. The bank reported earnings of $0.82 per share for the six months ended June 30, 1993.
 InterFirst Federal Savings Bank is in its 103rd year and is headquartered in Ann Arbor. The bank serves Washtenaw County from five branch locations. On June 30, 1993, the bank had assets totaling $246 million. The corporation's stock is quoted on the NASDAQ, National Market System under the symbol INFB.
