INTERDIGITAL RECEIVES $25 MILLION LOAN COMMITMENT FROM OREGON FINANCIAL

 KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- InterDigital Communications Corporation (AMEX: IDC) announced today that it has received a $25 million loan commitment from Oregon Financial Group, Inc., New York. The loan commitment provides for repayment of the principal loan amount at the end of ten years with interest only payable in arrears at the rate of 10% per year. This is the third in a series of financing arrangements that InterDigital plans to use for general corporate purposes and working capital.
 The loan is subject to the approval of InterDigital's Board of Directors, the completion of definitive agreements and documentation and will be secured by certain assets of InterDigital. Upon the closing, InterDigital will be required to pay fees and certain lender costs normally associated with a loan transaction of this type, and to issue 1,250,000 warrants with a five-year term and an exercise price of $5.00 per share to the lender.
 InterDigital is a world leader in TDMA and Broadband-Code Division Multiple Access (B-CDMA) technology and products. It has sold 180 UltraPhone systems worldwide and has received orders for an additional 32 UltraPhone systems, including 24 systems for Indonesia.
