 INTELLIGENT WINS IBM EDUQUEST CONTRACT
 EXTON, Pa., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- EduQuest, the IBM (NYSE: IBM)


Educational Systems Company, and Intelligent Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:INEL) today announced an agreement in principle for Intelligent Electronics to provide customer fulfillment services to IBM's kindergarten through 12th grade customers.
 Under the terms of the agreement, EduQuest and Intelligent Electronics will immediately begin developing a new system to enhance the ability of EduQuest to respond to the unique logistics requirements of its K-12 customers.
 According to Richard D. Sanford, chairman and chief executive officer of Intelligent Electronics, "Winning this agreement marks an important step in the company's strategy to capitalize on our strength in logistics and customer service. We plan to target additional opportunities as organizations continue to outsource more of their logistical needs to third parties." Sanford indicated Intelligent would establish a new division to focus specifically on serving the growing logistics marketplace.
 This new system, tailored to meet the needs of K-12 customers will include such functions as order entry and product distribution. EduQuest plans to begin implementing the new system in early 1993.
 EduQuest, headquartered in Atlanta, develops and provides administrative and classroom technology solutions to America's K-12 schools to improve the learning process and, as a result, improve the quality of education in America.
 Intelligent Electronics, headquartered in Exton, is a leading large- format retailer and wholesale distributor of office productivity solutions, including microcomputers, related equipment and office products.
