 INTELLIGENT ANNOUNCES 47 PERCENT INCREASE
 IN BIZMART'S FEBRUARY SAME STORE SALES
 EXTON, Pa., March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: INEL), a leading large-format retailer of office productivity solutions, today reported that BizMart, its wholly owned subsidiary and chain of supercenters, increased same store sales for the four-week period ended Feb. 29, 1992, by 47 percent compared to cash register sales during the same period last year.
 Of BizMart's 75 stores, 48 have been opened a year or more and are included in the calculation.
 James Berk, president and chief executive officer of Intelligent's Consumer Retail Group, said, "Customers are enthusiastically responding to BizMart's focus on total office productivity. They continue to recognize the synergies between our name-brand computers and our traditional office products."
 Since acquiring the BizMart chain in June, Intelligent Electronics has enhanced and reformatted all its BizMart supercenters to sell and support leading name-brand microcomputer and office products from manufacturers including Apple, Bell Phones, Compaq, Cross, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, NEC Technologies, Panasonic, Rolodex, and Toshiba.
 Intelligent's chain of 75 large-format BizMart supercenters and megacenters operates nationwide. The company's systems resellers and supercenters serve businesses of all sizes in all 50 states, in more than 700 communities throughout the United States.
