 INTEGRATED CIRCUIT SYSTEMS ELECTS RUDOLF GASSNER TO BOARD
 VALLEY FORGE, Pa., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Circuit Systems (NASDAQ: ICST) (ICS) announced today that the board of directors elected Rudolf Gassner of AMP Incorporated as its newest member.
 Gassner brings to ICS 25 years of experience in the electronics industry. He is currently vice president of the Capital Goods Business Unit at AMP Incorporated, the world's leading producer of electrical and electronic connecting and interconnection systems. Headquartered in Harrisburg, Pa., the company's fiscal 1991 sales exceeded $3 billion. With fiscal 1991 sales in excess of $680 million, the Capital Goods Business Unit is AMP's largest business entity. The unit is comprised of two manufacturing divisions, a new business development division, and product marketing and sales.
 Gassner began his career at AMP as a district sales engineer in 1966 and has served as district sales manager and general manager of the AMP Business Information Systems Division. During the last six years, Gassner has held vice president positions in several different divisions at AMP Incorporated.
 Edward Arnold, president and chairman of ICS, stated, "One of my goals has been to construct a strong, effective board of directors.
