INTEGRA BANK/PITTSBURGH MAKES A $1.1 MILLION EQUITY INVESTMENT IN CITY PRIDE BAKERY

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Integra Bank/Pittsburgh President and Chief Executive Officer Gayland Cook has announced an agreement with the management of City Pride Bakery for Integra to invest $1.1 million as an economic stabilizer that will bolster the long-term viability of the bakery.
"This is an unprecedented initiative on our part, and we stand behind the City Pride Bakery as an example of the kind of economic revitalization that is essential to our community. We are pleased to have this opportunity to support the bakery and its workforce. Integra Bank is concerned not only with the quality of service we provide to the Pittsburgh area, but also in the quality of life in our hometown," Cook explained.
The investment will provide equity for Integra in the City Pride operation and the details of that equity have yet to be determined.
Daniel Curtis, president and chief executive officer of City Pride Bakery, said, "This commitment by Integra exemplifies the spirit of what the City Pride project has been about over the last three years. The bank's generosity will enable us to see what the vision of the bakery can be. This is a perfect holiday present that sends a signal to the nation of the unique cooperation we enjoy in this effort."
Pittsburgh Mayor Sophie Masloff commented, "This city has provided leadership and support for the City Pride Bakery from the outset. We are certainly grateful that Integra Bank has stepped forward to provide the necessary financial support to continue this undertaking."
Integra Bank/Pittsburgh has 97 branches and serves Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland counties. Integra Bank/Pittsburgh is an affiliate of Integra Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: ITGR), the third-largest bank holding company in western Pennsylvania.
