INTEGRA: EQUIBANK CONVERSION COMPLETED

PITTSBURGH, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Integra Bank/Pittsburgh officials today announced that the merger of Equibank into Integra Bank/Pittsburgh has been successfully completed.
This conversion of Equibank systems into Integra's marks the end of the merger process that was first announced last July 30 when Integra Financial Corporation (NYSE: ITG) reached an agreement to acquire Equimark.
According to Gayland B. Cook, president and chief executive officer of Integra Bank/Pittsburgh, "The successful completion of the conversion reflects the teamwork, professionalism and dedication of the Equibank and Integra Bank/Pittsburgh employees. Working in a very short time frame, our staff completed the data processing conversion of Equibank accounts to Integra's. Also, 17 branches (six Equibank and 11 Integra) have consolidated with a nearby location. These consolidations will improve operating efficiency in neighborhoods where Integra Bank/Pittsburgh and Equibank both operated branches."
Cook also welcomed the new Equimark customers to the Integra system. "We are pleased to offer an array of new services to Equibank customers, including the 24 Hour BankCall Customer Service Center, Classic Choice (for high balance depositors), brokerage services, IntegraMax (for borrowers), Preferred Investment Account, extra cash line of credit, Integra Bank MasterCard and VISA, business equipment leasing and retail trust services.
Cook added, "We are also pleased to welcome our new customers to a banking system that provides 260 branches for their convenience."
Integra Bank/Pittsburgh currently has 126 branches and serves Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland counties. Integra Bank/Pittsburgh is an affiliate of Integra Financial Corporation, the third largest bank holding company in Western Pennsylvania. Integra has assets of $13.5 billion and operates three banks -- Integra Bank/South, Integra Bank/Pittsburgh and Integra Bank/North, with 260 offices throughout 22 counties in Western Pennsylvania. Other major affiliates include Integra Investment Company, Integra Mortgage Company and Integra Trust Company.
