INQUIRY 'TERROR' OF SHIPMAN WIFE.
Primrose Shipman, 52, recently moved to a hamlet near her home town of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, to escape the public eye.
Her lawyers say she is "terrified" of appearing before the Shipman Inquiry at Manchester Town Hall but a plea that she be allowed to give evidence in private or via video was turned down.
The mother of four will be asked to put together "pieces in the jigsaw" as she is quizzed about her husband's treatment of a number of patients who died or almost died.
Primrose has never been interviewed by police and has refused to discuss her involvement with patients of her husband.
But clear evidence has been presented to the inquiry indicating she was present at some deaths and that, on one occasion, a victim's jewellery was found to be missing.
