INNOVET, INC. LEAVES NASDAQ FOR THE EMERGING COMPANY MARKETPLACE AT THE AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE

NEW YORK, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- InnoVet, Inc. has commenced trading on the Emerging Company Marketplace at the American Stock Exchange. The company's common stock, trading under the ticker symbol "IVT.EC," opened at 10:30 a.m. at 1-3/8 on 2,000 shares. InnoVet, Inc. has selected J. Streicher & Co. as its specialist firm.
InnoVet, Inc., headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla., is a biotechnology company dedicated to the research, development and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical and biological products that address the needs of the human health, animal health and agricultural markets. Additionally the company supplies specialty animal nutritional products to commercial farming operations through its wholly owned subsidiaries.
Dr. Jesse Houdeshell, InnoVet's president and CEO commented, "This new listing on the Emerging Company Marketplace at the American Stock Exchange will certainly help InnoVet to gain the type of exposure we had been lacking trading on Nasdaq. We feel strongly that the AMEX specialist system will provide our shareholders with greater visibility and a more efficient trading environment. In addition to the benefits associated with trading on the specialist-based auction market system, we look forward to increasing our exposure within the U.S. financial community by taking advantage of the AMEX-sponsored Corporate Focus programs."
The Emerging Company Marketplace at the American Stock Exchange was created in March 1992 to provide small growth companies with the benefits associated with trading on the AMEX auction market system.
The American Stock Exchange occupies a unique niche among U.S. financial markets. It is the only exchange to successfully provide both a primary equities market for growth companies, as well as a principal market to trade derivatives. No other exchange has balanced traditional and cutting edge trading products. And because of the efficiencies associated with the AMEX auction marketplace, investors of all sizes achieve the greatest value and protection.
