INNOVATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES LTD. ANNOUNCES CONTRACT

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovative Environmental Services Ltd. ("IES") (Alberta: INV) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Churchill Environmental Services Inc., has been granted a contract by Gulf States Utilities Co. of Beaumont, Texas, to transport and dispose of approximately 2.5 million gallons of wastewater from Gulf States' River Bend nuclear power plant located in St. Francisville, La. The contract is for a fixed price of U.S. $812,000.
 The wastewater being removed is a by-product of chemical cleaning used by Gulf States to remove iron from the power plant's cooling system. The wastewater is non-radioactive. Work is to commence immediately and be completed by the end of January 1994.
