CHICAGO, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Senior management of Inland Steel Industries (NYSE: IAD) is having a telephone conference for financial analysts at 3:30 p.m. (Chicago Time) on Wednesday, May 22 to summarize the company's 1996 Annual Stockholders' Meeting and comment on the company's businesses.

The telephone conference will include a question & answer session and will conclude at 4:30 p.m., Chicago Time.

There will not be a replay of the telephone conference.
