INFRASONICS SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF PREEMICARE CORP. SAN DIEGO, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Infrasonics Inc. (NASDAQ: IFRA) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of PreemiCare Corp., a manufacturer of infant incubators and ventilators (respirators) subject due diligence. Jim Hitchin, Infrasonics' president, said, "The addition of PreemiCare to our company considerably broadens our product line in the infant intensive care nursery. Incubators and ventilators go hand in hand in the care of premature babies and even full-term babies that develop life-threatening diseases. We are very excited about the future possibilities for growth in this product area."
