ELK RIVER, Minn., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Infopac Imaging Products, of Elk River, announced an exclusive agreement with Target Stores of Minneapolis, to remanufacture laser printer cartridges.
"Target has been recycling standard printer ribbons and multicolor point of sale ribbons with us for over a year," stated Shelley Jerome, Infopac's vice president sales & marketing, "This additional step is indicative of target's proactive endeavor to protect our environment. Target was pleased to find that recycling doesn't really take more effort, it is more change of habit; saving rather than tossing. Not only can valuable landfill space be saved but the cost savings to target will run several hundred thousand dollars annually. Voluntary effort far exceeds legislation."
