INFINITI REPORTS OCTOBER SALES; CALENDAR-YEAR SALES UP 16 PERCENT

 CARSON, Calif., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti, the luxury car division of Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A., announced sales of 4,017 units, boosting Infiniti's calendar-year-to-date total to 42,876, up 16 percent over last year's sales of 37,162.
 By model, sales were led by the J30 personal luxury sedan, which posted a month-end total of 1,590. Sales of Inifiti's other models included 1,171 Q45 luxury performance and 1,256 G20 luxury sports sedans.
 "Infiniti has built tremendous sales momentum this year," said William R. Bruce, vice president and general manager, Infiniti Division. "With a 16 percent increase over last year's sales, Infiniti is among the leaders in the luxury car segment."
 Total Nissan Motor Corp. sales for October, including Nissan Division, were 55,990, up 5.1 percent over the previous year's sales. Nissan Motor Corp. sales for the calendar-year-to-date period totaled 575,367, up 18.6 percent over sales for the same period in 1992.
