INFINITI REPORTS MONTH-END SALES; CALENDAR-YEAR-TO-DATE SALES UP 16 PERCENT

 CARSON, Calif., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti reported November sales of 3,778, up nearly 12 percent over sales of 3,248 for the corresponding period last year, according to figures released today by the luxury car division of Nissan Motor Corp. (NMC) U.S.A.
 Infiniti's month-end sales total boosted the division's calendar- year-to-date (CYTD) sales to 46,566, an increase of 16 percent over CYTD sales of 40,311 last year.
 By model, sales included 961 Q45 luxury performance sedans, 1,272 J30 personal luxury sedans and 1,545 G20 luxury sports sedans.
 "Infiniti is closing in on its best sales year ever," said William R. Bruce, Infiniti vice president and general manager. "Our percentage increases over last year's sales put Infiniti among the sales-increase leaders in the luxury car market, ahead of such marques as Lexus and Mercedes-Benz."
 Total NMC sales for November, including Nissan Division, were 52,983, up 17 percent over the previous year's sales of 43,451. Nissan Motor Corp. sales of the calendar-year-to-date period totaled 628,350, up 18 percent over sales for the same period in 1992.
