INFINITI CAPTURES BEST OVERALL CARLINE IN J.D. POWER AND ASSOCIATES SALES SATISFACTION STUDY(TM)

CARSON, Calif., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Owners of Infiniti vehicles reported a higher level of satisfaction with the sales process of their new vehicle compared to all other brands, according to a leading automotive sales satisfaction study released yesterday by J.D. Power and Associates.
The Sales Satisfaction Study(TM) queries new car buyers on three facets of the sales process: the delivery process (which carries 25 percent of the weight); initial product condition (30 percent); and salesperson performance (45 percent). Infiniti was ranked Best Overall Carline in sales satisfaction with a total score of 153, a record high for the seven-year-old study.
"The real winners, as shown by this survey, are new car buyers," said William R. Bruce, vice president, general manager, Infiniti Division. "It's clear the sales satisfaction of new car buyers is increasing across the board, and we at Infiniti are proud to be leading the way. It has paid dividends for us by exceeding customer expectations while adding extra value to our line."
Infiniti, the luxury car division of Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A., was introduced in 1989 and immediately established itself as an innovator and leader in exceeding customer expectations.
All Infiniti dealership personnel -- from the dealer principal to the receptionist -- are required to attend the division's "Infiniti U" program in Scottsdale, Ariz. In addition, dealerships are designed for a relaxed, "pressure free" sales atmosphere.
As part of the Total Ownership Experience, Infiniti also offers buyers a 24-hour roadside assistance program, free loan cars with scheduled service appointments and a satellite parts network to minimize service delays. There are currently 148 Infiniti dealerships nationwide.
