Indonesia has announced plans to construct a shopping mall at Soekarno-Hatta airport, Jakarta. Construction of the mall - which will connect the two terminals at the airport - is expected to begin next year, and will be completed within four years.
Millions of Americans took to the air yesterday (27 November) for the Thanksgiving holiday period, creating the biggest test in airport security since the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) fully took over last week. The TSA has stated that travellers were waiting an average of less than ten minutes at major US airport checkpoints. Travelocity - an online booking site which sent monitors to 25 major US airports - has claimed that the delays ranged from about ten minutes to one hour.

To qualify for the promotion, customers must book the vehicle by 28 February 2003, and must also enter promotion code DBL4 on the web site's reservation page, as well as providing their frequent flyer number at the time of rental.
