INDUSTRIAL TRAINING SYSTEMS CORP. REPORTS FISCAL 1992 FINANCIAL RESULTS
MARLTON, N.J., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Industrial Training Systems Corp. (ITSC) the Marlton-based producer and marketer of occupational health, safety and environmental training materials, today reported a net income of $67,000, or $.07 per share, on revenues of $4,201,000 for its fiscal year ended June 30, 1992.
For the prior fiscal year, the company recorded a net loss of $353,000 or ($.35) per share, on revenues of $3,936,000.
For the quarter ended June 30, 1992, the company reported a net income of $51,000 or $.05 per share, on revenues of $1,140,000. For the same quarter of the prior year, the company recorded a loss of $191,000 or ($.19) per share, on revenues of $874,000.
John M. Evans, president of Industrial Training Systems Corp., said: "Fiscal 1992 was an excellent comeback year for our company. Both revenues and margins were up for the year while SG&A expenses remained fairly constant. The final quarter of fiscal '92 was especially strong. In part, this was due to the introduction of our 1992-93 sales catalog and spring releases of two OSHA-driven videos: a noise-induced hearing loss program and a bloodborne pathogens program.
"The company has recently increased its sales force by 20 percent and added a telemarketing manager. These additions should have a favorable impact on our sales volume as we move into fiscal 1993."
