 IN FOCUS SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER
 TUALATIN, Ore., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- In Focus Systems Inc.


(NASDAQ: INFS) today announced the appointment of Michael R. Hallman to its board of directors effective immediately. Hallman is the former president and chief operating officer of Microsoft Corp., a leading software company. Prior to that he was president of Boeing Computer Services.
 Steven R. Hix, co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of In Focus, commented, "We are very pleased to have found someone with the industry experience of Mike Hallman and feel that his background uniquely qualifies him to contribute to the company's future success."
