T-BILL RATES RISE: Interest rates on short-term Treasury securities rose in Monday's auction. The Treasury Department sold $5.8 billion in three-month bills at an average discount rate of 4.995 percent, up from 4.945 percent last week. An additional $7.29 billion was sold in six-month bills at an average rate of 5.155 percent, up from 5.110 percent.

HAWKER SIGNS UPS DEAL: Sun Valley-based landing gear maintenance service provider Hawker Pacific Aerospace signed a five-year, $5 million service agreement with United Parcel Service Co. The contract calls for Hawker to perform landing gear repair and maintenance and provide a number of other services on UPS's fleet of 16 Boeing 747 aircraft.

HAAGEN BUYS SHOP: Santa Barbara-based Haagen Printing, which has a location in Westlake Village, has acquired Camarillo-based Center Graphics for an undisclosed cash price. The purchase will give Haagen a second offset printing location; the other is in Santa Barbara.
