PM greets Ethiopian premier

Qatar-Sudan relations reviewed

HE the Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanem met his Sudanese counterpart Mohamed Bishara Dossa, who is currently visiting Qatar. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in legislative and legal areas.

Vodafone selling nano SIM cards

Vodafone Qatar, the exclusive reseller of Apple in the country, now provides nano SIM cards in anticipation of the soon to be launched iPhone 5.

The new nano SIM card is designed to work with the highly anticipated iPhone 5, for now, and any other device coming to the market in the future that will fit this tiny SIM.

The nano SIM card is so tiny that it is one third the size of the standard SIM and almost half the size of the micro SIM.

Despite its small size, the SIM is capable of offering the complete array of services offered by Vodafone. Customers can find the new nano SIM card at all Vodafone shops or partner stores.

Gandhi birth anniversary

Indian Cultural and Arts Society will observe the 144th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at the Indian Cultural Centre on October 2 at 7pm. National Students Union all-India secretary S Sarath will be the chief guest.

Forum to hold get-together

Indian expatriate forum Thrissur Jilla Souhrida Vedi will hold its annual "Manava Souhrida Sangamam" at Indian Cultural Centre on September 28 from 6pm. A well-known social activist and writer from Kerala, M N Karassery, will deliver the keynote address.
