IN BRIEF: Crews clean up rush-hour spills.

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a clear a number of diesel spillages on Teesside roads during rush hour traffic.

The tanker leaked the fuel in three separate areas of Middlesbrough with the driver believed to be unaware of the problem. Cleveland Fire Brigade dealt with the spillages on the A66 near the Riverside Stadium, near the Cargo Fleet roundabout on the same road and on Borough Road at the junction with Westbourne Terrace at about 4.30pm yesterday. Middlesbrough Council then attended to lay sand on the spilt diesel.
