IN BRIEF: Concern over missing OAP.

POLICE are concerned for the welfare of an elderly man missing from his home since Sunday.

Eric Martin, 73, from the Park End area of Middlesbrough, was last seen at a local shop at about 7.45am. He is thought to be in his red Citroen Xsara Picasso, registration NX56 XHR. He has family links in Nottingham but inquiries there have drawn a blank.

Cleveland Police said his health problems could leave him vulnerable. Anyone with information is urged to ring PC Alan Brown on 01642 303126.
