IKEY, a manufacturer of industrial computer peripherals, announced on Tuesday (13 September) the release of its latest product, the DW-5K wireless industrial keyboard/pointing device.

The DW-5K offers 116 key functionality and a 10-key numeric pad. Its integrated, three-button HulaPoint II pointing device allows for cursor control, while eliminating the need for an external mouse.

According to the company, the DW-5K incorporates 2.4 GHz WirelessUSB technology which gives it a 30-foot range, and uses radio frequency systems so is not susceptible to line of sight issues. Utilising a plug and play USB dongle, the DW-5K industrial keyboard is automatically detected by a host computer.

No pricing details were announced.
