IISRP meets in Naples, Italy. (Meetings).
The IISRP's Annual General Meeting provides a forum for the group's members and ancillary industry representatives to meet and become better acquainted. The central purposes of the AGM are to provide a business program dedicated to the needs and interest of the global synthetic rubber industry, to conduct its annual Board of Directors meeting, to conduct a semi-annual opportunity for the group's standing committees to meet and to conduct other institute business.
Vincent Calarco, chairman and CEO of Crompton, will present the opening address on "Future globalization in the chemical industry."
Dr. Maurizio Galimberti, manager of Materials Innovati Pirelli, will present the keynote address.
Session I will include the following presentations: "The automotive world without rubber," Robert Eller, president, Eller & Associates; "New end use developments," Sachio Hayashi, research and development manager, Zeon; and "Feedstock and energy outlook," Wayne Feller, executive vice president, CMAI.
Session II will include the following presentations: "Global economic outlook," Dr. Yuri Glaziev, Committee for Economic & Industrial Policy and Dr. Hidde Smit, professor, Amsterdam University; and "FAW global vision," Dr. F.J. Radamacher, scientific director.
Registration for this meeting costs $2,200 and includes all business program sessions and all social functions held during the Annual General Meeting.
