IFS Applications MRO Suite selected by US Federal Aviation Administration.

<p>IFS Applications announced yesterday that its maintenance and repair overhaul (MRO) solution has been selected by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).</p><p>MRO solution will be used to ensure the reliability of equipment used throughout the US National Airspace System (NAS), which is one of the most complex aviation systems in the world allowing an average of 50,000 flights a day in the US.</p><p>Lockheed Martin is to be the system integrator in support of the FAA programme called Logistics Center Support System (LCSS).</p><p>The LCSS solution will replace the current FAAa[euro](tm)s Logistics and Inventory System in use at the Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center in Oklahoma City.</p>
