IFMA operates career service.

The Greater New York Chapter of the International Facility Management Association operates a "Career Service" for its members. The service brings together corporate human resources representatives who seek top notch candidates for their facilities or real estate management departments with IFMA members seeking job opportunities. To participate, job seekers provide information which is then entered into the computer. Job providers fill out an application, which triggers a search of the database for those applicants who best fit the job description. Assignments may be full time, part time or project specific.

To further assist their members, the New York Chapter of IFMA sponsors a monthly networking night, the cost of which are underwritten by Harter. These sessions provide attendees with the opportunity of sharing experiences, expertise and support.
