IFAC releases two exposure drafts.

The International Federation of Accountants has issued two new exposure drafts for international distribution.

The first, Professional Ethics for Accountants: The Educational Challenge and Practical Application, recommends teaching professional ethics be an integral part of formal education and work experience for accountants. It also recommends member bodies review the ways in which members continue to learn about professional ethics throughout their careers.

The second, Auditing for Compliance with Authority, outlines the responsibilities of an auditor of public sector entities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and other authorities, including the conduct of the audit and resulting reports.
