IFA's member-get-a-member campaign taps three winners: get involved, recruit, earn $$$ and recognition.

The international franchise association congratulates the outstanding recruitment skills of three members who earned top honors in the IFA 2012 Member-Get-A-Member Campaign. Honors went to iFranchise Group President Dave Hood for first place, MFV Expositions President Tom Portesy placed second and Faegre Baker Daniels LLP Partner Kevin Hein, CFE, took third place. In 2012, IFA welcomed 222 franchisor, 148 franchisee and 158 supplier new members.

Hood recruited 16 franchisor members and three supplier members to earn first place. His achievement earned him one complimentary full-page advertisement in IFA's Franchise Opportunities Guide. Hood and iFranchise Group CEO Mark Siebert have been the No. 1 Recruiter for the association, winning the top spot eight times in 10 years.

Portesy walked away with one complimentary one-half-page advertisement in IFA's Franchise Opportunities Guide for recruiting 15 franchisor members.

Hein was honored for recruiting six franchisor members and one supplier. This earned him one complimentary one-half-page advertisement in Franchising World magazine.
