IDG starts conference in Europe mid two pubs for Turkey.
Like its North American counterpart, the annual conference will feature new product introductions and demonstrations from European technology firms and North American companies bringing new products to the European markets.
In related news, IDG and Turkish partner Deniz Publishing (Istanbul) have launched Computerworld (Turkey) and PC World (Turkey) to "meet the information needs of senior-level IT professionals." IDG said that both titles provide technology news, analysis of new products, "how-to" articles and special reports on new technological developments.
Published weekly, Computerworld has a controlled circulation of 5000 and 11 ad pages in a 48-page folio. It includes technology news, interviews with regional technology executives, product reviews and coverage of new technology trends. PC World has a monthly newsstand circulation of 25,000 and provides product rankings, technology news and special reports on what to buy. Excluding the recently closed PC Magazine, competitors include Byte Magazine amd PC Net.
