IDC'S TOLLEFSON FARMS ESTABLISHES KEY HEALTH FOOD BROKER RELATIONSHIP

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- IDC Holdings, Ltd., through its subsidiary, Tollefson Farms, Inc., announced today that it has received a non-binding letter of intent from a health food broker to purchase substantial quantities of its low-fat pork products. Fulfillment of the letter, expected during the first three-four months of 1994, would have the effect of approximately doubling current production volumes.
The purchase orders that are contemplated in the letter are in connection with the broker's sales to seven specialty food chains representing approximately 100 reu?tlets. Upon the receipt of monthly purchase orders, Tollefson Farms anticipates that it will ship slightly in excess of 150,000 pounds of processed pork products to the broker each month, with an aggregate value of more than $350,000 per month.
Tollefson's weekly pork production volume has increased to a quantity that, without consideration of this letter of intent, is currently approximately three times the company's average weekly production volume this past summer.
Dan Tollefson, president and founder of the company, stated, "This new relationship is a key opportunity for Tollefson Farms. This broker has historically been highly successful in marketing residue-free premium beef and lamb to specialty retailers. Tollefson Farms is in a position to be their exclusive source of pork for this emerging specialty market."
IDC Holdings, Ltd., is a publicly traded holding company with subsidiaries engaged in gaming, biotechnology, the food industry, and advertising specialties. The company's common stock is listed in the Pink Sheets.
