IDB SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH BOSNIAN PTT TO MANAGE ALL INTELSAT REQUESTS; PACT CALLS FOR IDB TO BUILD BOSNIAN EARTH STATION FOR SAT. TRANSMISSIONS

 LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced today it has signed an exclusive long-term agreement with the Bosnian PTT which enlists IDB to construct and install a 9-meter earth station and associated facilities for video, television and data transmission services from Sarejvo to the United States. Additionally, IDB has been named Bosnia's Intelsat representative and will act on behalf of the Bosnian PTT, managing all international satellite communications to and from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
 IDB BROADCAST's vice president of international sales, Phil McInnes, has been named Bosnia's Intelsat representative. McInnes will manage and oversee all Intelsat satellite communication requests from the international media, governments and private parties.
 IDB SYSTEMS, the company's unit that specializes in the design and installation of turn-key satellite networks, will install a permanent nine-meter Ku-Band earth station which will become operational in 60 days. This facility will transmit and receive communications traffic to and from Bosnia.
 As noted in the deal, the Bosnian government has paid IDB in full for the construction of the earth station facility and all future payments relating to provided services will be generated in U.S. dollars.
