 IDB COMMUNICATIONS GROUP SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR
 ADDITIONAL TRANSPONDER ON SATCOM C-5 FOR DATS SERVICE
 PRINCETON, N.J., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- GE American Communications, Inc. (GE Americom) and IDB Communications Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced today they have signed an agreement for satellite transmission service on Satcom C-5.
 The contract is for a pre-emptible transponder.
 IDB Communications Group will join ABC Radio Network, Westwood One, Learfield Communications, and other radio broadcasters using audio program delivery services on Satcom C-5.
 Currently, IDB has both a fully protected transponder and fully protected DATS service on Satcom C-5. It will use this space segment to provide DATS service and SCPC service to radio stations throughout the country.
 IDB Communications Group, Inc. operates a domestic and international communications network which provides its customers with radio and television transmission services, international private line telephone, facsimile and data connections, mobile satellite communications capabilities and, most recently, international public switched long- distance telephone services.
 GE Americom, located in Princeton, uses the Satcom fleet -- five C-band and two Ku-band satellites -- to service cable television, broadcast radio and television as well as business information and government markets. GE Americom is a subsidiary of General Electric Company (NYSE: GE).
