IDB COMMUNICATIONS GROUP ANNOUNCES MAJOR LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE SERVICES EXPANSION

 NEW YORK, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced today that IDB WORLDCOM, the company's private line and long distance telephone unit, is significantly expanding its long-distance telephone origination capabilities for its retail and commercial customers to include all major business locations nationwide.
 International direct-dial, private line and messaging services will be available beginning Nov. 1, 1993, and will be carried over IDB WORLDCOM's fully digital network. The company offers a full range of services aimed at businesses requiring reliable and cost-effective international communications.
 IDB WORLDCOM currently provides service primarily out of New York City, Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C. The expansion program will introduce the company's communications services for the first time in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Seattle and San Francisco.
