IDB COMMUNICATIONS GROUP AND PTT TELECOM NETHERLANDS SIGN AGREEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TELEPHONE SERVICE

 NEW YORK, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced today that the company's private line and international long distance telephone unit, IDB WORLDCOM, has signed a direct operating agreement with PTT Telecom Netherlands for international telephone services between the United States and the Netherlands, including country-direct service.
 IDB WORLDCOM's agreement with the Netherlands, signed by Mike Sauer, vice president of international relations of IDB WORLDCOM and Rob Dekkers, vice president, international telecommunications of PTT Telecom Netherlands, enables IDB WORLDCOM to provide international public switched service to and from the Netherlands.
 "Our service agreement with the Netherlands PTT not only allows IDB WORLDCOM to further expand our international service offerings, but it also allows us to service the growing number of customers who have communications requirements to and from the Netherlands," said Sauer. "We are very enthusiastic about the agreement and look forward to a long and successful business relationship."
