IDB COMMUNICATIONS AND TELSTRA (OTC AUSTRALIA) SIGN AGREEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TELEPHONE SERVICE

 LOS ANGELES, May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced that the company's private line and international long distance telephone unit, IDB WORLDCOM, has signed an operating agreement with Telstra (OTC Australia).
 Telstra, which is the largest integrated domestic/international carrier in the Asia-Pacific Region, previously traded offshore as OTC Australia.
 IDB WORLDCOM's agreement with Telstra, signed on May 11, 1993, by Steve Carroll, president of IDB WORLDCOM, and Peter Shore, managing director, International of Telstra, enables IDB WORLDCOM to provide international telephone services to Australia. In addition, IDB will be offering transit service to Moscow and the N.I.S. for Telstra.
