IDB BROADCAST AND PRIME TICKET NETWORK INK FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT; PACT CALLS FOR IDB TO PROVIDE DIGITAL VIDEO COMPRESSION

 LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB BROADCAST, the domestic and international radio and television transmission services unit of IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX), today announced a new five- year agreement with Prime Ticket Network covering transmission services for La Cadena Deportiva Prime Ticket, the country's first Spanish- language sports cable network and Prime Ticket's San Diego feed.
 IDB has provided satellite transmission services to Prime Ticket since 1986 and will continue to uplink the primary Prime Ticket network to Satcom C-1, transponder 7.
 Under the agreement, IDB will provide the Los Angeles-based Prime Ticket with satellite transponder space, fiber connectivity and uplinking services. From Nov. 1, 1993, through March 31, 1994, IDB BROADCAST will provide full-time analog uplinking service to La Cadena Deportiva Prime Ticket to Satcom C-1, transponder 21. Beginning April 1, 1994, IDB will begin providing Prime Ticket with digital compression technology for transmission of both La Cadena Deportiva Prime Ticket and Prime Ticket's San Diego feed. All of Prime Ticket's programming originates from its Master Control Center in its Century City headquarters and is interconnected to IDB's Los Angeles Teleport facility via a system of IDB-provided local fiber circuits.
 When the digital compression technology is implemented there will additional capacity on Satcom C-1, transponder 21 which IDB will market to the cable industry.

 La Cadena Deportiva Prime Ticket is the nation's first Spanish- language sports network. Designed as a sister service to English- language Prime Ticket Network, it is delivered exclusively on basic cable TV. The network officially began televising its programming on Nov. 15, providing 15 hours of sports per day, seven days a week.
 Prime Ticket's San Diego feed will feature exclusive programming including major league baseball's San Diego Padres and local marketplace advertising.
 Prime Ticket is one of the nation's largest regional sports networks, serving more than 4.2 million subscribers in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.
