IDB AND HONG KONG TELECOM SIGN AGREEMENT FOR SWITCHED VOICE SERVICE

 NEW YORK, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX) announced that the company's private line and public- switched international long distance telephone unit, IDB WORLDCOM, has signed an Operating Agreement with Hong Kong Telecom International (HKTI).
 IDB WORLDCOM's agreement with Hong Kong, signed on Jan. 15, 1993, by Steve Carroll, president for IDB WORLDCOM, and Gregory L. Crew, managing director for HKTI, enables IDB WORLDCOM to provide switched voice services to Hong Kong.
 "We are pleased that our agreement with HKTI will enable us to expand our service offerings to meet our customers' global needs," said Mike Sauer, vice president, International Relations and Carrier Services for IDB WORLDCOM.
 Operating a diverse global DACS-based network of fiber optic submarine cable and satellite transmission services, IDB WORLDCOM provides numerous routing options to virtually every region in the world, with operating agreements with over 100 countries.
 IDB Communications Group Inc. operates a domestic and international communications network which provides its customers with radio and television transmission services, international private line telephone, facsimile and data connections, mobile satellite communications capabilities and international public-switched long distance telephone services.
