ID loss prevention.

True ID is a loss prevention service from Image Data, LLC, of Nashua, New Hampshire, that provides real-time digital image verification at the point of service to protect customers and businesses from identity crimes, including check, credit, refund, and rental frauds. To operate, the consumer presents a photo ID to a True ID subscriber during a transaction; the ID is scanned, encrypted, and transmitted to the secure database where it is mapped to the consumer's account data. The next time the consumer initiates a transaction at a subscriber, the consumer's image is securely sent back to the point of service for instant identity verification.
