 ICELANDAIR OFFERS INCREASED SAVINGS TO AMSTERDAM-BOUND PASSENGERS;

NEW COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES TO PASSENGERS ON SOME CONNECTING FLIGHTS
 NEW YORK, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Amsterdam-bound travelers choosing Icelandair will now be rewarded with even more than a low fare and a ride in a new plane. As of Sept. 1, 1992, most fares to Amsterdam will allow passengers to receive the same versatile $45-bonus voucher that is provided with most fares to Scandinavia and Great Britain.
 The voucher can be redeemed for up to its face value for purchases of duty free goods from the inflight Saga Boutique or from the Icemart Shops and Duty Free Shop at Icelandair's Keflavik hub. It can also be redeemed for up to its face value for Icelandair car rentals in Iceland or any accommodations or services at Icelandair Hotels in the capital, Reykjavik. An additional option is using the voucher as payment toward another ticket on any Icelandair route or toward stopover tours in Iceland.
 Another advantage of flying Icelandair is that all passengers can visit Iceland for no extra airfare. Now, the airline is giving passengers with tickets to Scandinavia, Great Britain and Amsterdam a new incentive to visit Iceland. The airline will provide a complimentary one-night stopover in Reykjavik for those passengers whose connecting flights depart Iceland the day following their arrival at Keflavik International Airport. If passengers would like to extend their stay another one or two days, the airline's stopover packages provide an economical way to do just that.
 For those travelers whose connecting flights depart Keflavik the same day as their arrival but later that day, Icelandair will provide a room for the day in Reykjavik at one of two first-class hotels, a buffet breakfast at the hotel, and transfers to and from the airport.
 Passengers can take advantage of the complimentary overnight stopover or day in Reykjavik on one way of their roundtrip to Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Gothenburg. Icelandair's flights depart from New York's John F. Kennedy International, Baltimore- Washington International and Orlando International airports. Travelers can call their travel agent or Icelandair at 1-800-223-5500.
