ICCBS awards 170 admissions to MPhil and PhD Program - Press Release issued by University of Karachi.

Following is the text of press release issued by University of Karachi


International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi (UoK) has given admission to 170 candidates to its ICCBS MPhil and PhD Programme-2019. As per an announcement, made by a senior official of the international center, more than 500 candidates, seeking admissions to ICCBS MPhil and PhD Programme-2019, were appeared in the entrance test.

The official said that out of the entire figure 170, a total of 121 candidates were awarded admission to H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi and 49 candidates to Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi.

He added that the figures of the total induction are equally divided into M.Phil and PhD admission categories. He said that admissions had been given in various disciplines of sciences, which included Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Bio-Organic Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Molecular Medicine. The official said that M Phil and PhD classes will commence from September 2, 2019.
