 ICC ANNOUCNES STRONG GROWTH AND PROFITS FOR 1991;
 PLANS ARE FOR ANOTHER MAJOR INCREASE IN REVENUES FOR '92
 CINCINNATI, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Intercomputer Communications Corporation (ICC) announced today that calendar year-end results for 1991 show a 45 percent growth over 1990 revenues, with a profit increase of 150 percent. ICC, which began the year with 150 employees, reports that now there are nearly 200 employees in the privately-held company.
 "Our revenues for calendar year have gone from approximately $14 million to nearly $21 million in the past calendar year," said William Miller, chief executive officer and founder of ICC. "But more significantly, our profits have tripled in that time."
 Miller attributes the dramatic increase in profits partially to timely engineering investments in Windows software technology in past years. Miller stated that companies with a later start are still in their infancy in this product area.
 "This past year has seen strategic alliances and major enhancements to our product line and our marketing capabilities," said ICC President, Larry Duckworth, "with offerings in many progressive areas of the computer industry such as Windows, client-server technology, communications software for OSI and TCP/IP protocols, and remote network access products. We have also invested in marketing efforts and have vastly expanded our sales channel capacity."
 According to Duckworth, in October, Unisys and ICC jointly announced the formation of a strategic business alliance to develop, deliver and market INFOConnect, a suite of networking software products for personal workstations. The jointly developed INFOConnect software enables users to write Personal Computer programs that interface to a variety of larger computer systems in a computer network. The INFOConnect product line is currently being installed in accounts in Europe, Japan and the United States.
 These 1991 financial results come on the heels of a December announcement of an expanded management team to accommodate growth in various arenas. ICC brought three top management people on board in 1991, reporting to the president:
 -- Greg Goodall, International Market Leader
 -- Ian Pennell, Network Divison Leader
 -- Mark McWilliams, Sperry Division Leader
 Miller looks for continued growth in 1992, due in part to increased international activity. The company has recently opened an office in Japan, a traditional stronghold for Unisys products. A Canadian office is also being opened in early 1992.
 ICC, founded in 1983 to supply communications software for the Unisys mainframe customers, today has a product offering which includes more than 65 software products for the Unisys, IBM and DEC markets. ICC has expertise in many areas of development, including DOS, Windows, UNIX, LAN host, OS/2, as well as hardware design and networking.
 Based in Cincinnati, ICC currently has 195 employees. Most ICC solutions are sold through a direct sales force, and the remainder through distribution and OEM agreements.
